Frances Catania Venezia

It was only recently that I even realized I had relatives from my father's (James Vincent Catania) side of the family. Frances was in touch with my sister after her brother's passing and we were hoping to reconnect at some point. I so saddened and shocked that I will never get the opportunity to make the connection to my father's family that I had hoped. My sincere condolences to the Catania and Venezia families.

Dear Nicolina and Carmine: Your mother Frances and I went to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School all throughout elementary school together. Many times I had the honor and the privilege to spend time with your mother at your Grandpa and Grandma Catania's house, when we we growing up. I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss; however, God wanted her beautiful soul home with Him in heaven--her eternal glory and reward. He wanted her singing and her music to join His choirs of angels. Now her happiness and joy are a forever gift. My prayers are with you, and your uncle--your mom's brother, and your grandparents Catania. My love to one and all.

In our H-school Senior year,a group of us contributed towards the purchase of a brand-new guitar for Fran. SHe performed in a Coral Gables coffeehouse. She had a knack for bringing people together-community! I was pleased to see her at our 40th class reunion and to meet her,beautiful,daughter,Nicolina. My thoughts and prayers are with her children and family for comfort and strength. Estelle Templeton

Dear Nicolina:
We are so very sorry for your loss. We only met your mother a couple of times (at Ashley's parties), but we remember how nice and friendly she was. Such a happy and effervescent personality, just like you...We are praying for you, Carmine and the rest of your family to receive the peace you need in your hearts to deal with such a tremendous and untimely loss.
