I will never forget Gail. She has truly been an inspiration to my life. All of us who had the blessing of working with her at The Nature Conservancy will never forget her kindness, generosity, and love. Thank you Miss Gail. I will miss you more. God bless you Bob Hall. You too are a great man and I am truly sorry for your loss.

Gail was an exceptional woman. She worked with us at The Nature Conservancy for many years, first as a volunteer and when we couldn't live without her, we hired her. She had so many diverse interests, from her geology collection, to her love of swimming (synchronized swimming, no less), to totems, carousel horses, real horses, standard poodles, and on and on. She shared her season tickets of the afternoon coffee concert series of Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra with our staff to try to ingrain a little culture into all of us. It was a special treat to go to the symphony with Gail. She had a broad knowledge of just about any topic of conservation. Her smile and her laugh were infectious. She was such a special person. She will be deeply missed.

I remember her as Gail Howes when she was one of my teachers in High School. She was a great teacher and wonderful person. I know that she will be greatly missed. My condolences to her family.
