I remember George being a senior while I was an 8th grade student. George was very sweet to me; I guess he realized that I was quite 'young' as I embarked upon my high school years. I am sure he grew up to be a wonderful man; I am sorry for your loss.
We are so sorry for this sad time and for your loss. You are in our hearts and prayers.
Our prayers are with you, Terry Beth and family, even as George's goodness shines on in the lives of his children and grandkids. How can we forget the fun he had with Rockhurst High School theater and his pride in his children's generous service to so many, especially Elizabeth's career and Jimmy's work at University of Dallas and Simple House. George's joy in life will continue to witness Hope to us all.
I remember George fondly from our high school years at Westport High and all the times we ran into each other in the years after. My deepest sympathies to the whole Barnes family. We lost him way too soon. God Bless. Cindy Haskin(nee Major).
Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers and wishing you peace.
