I would like to extend our condolensces to "Grandpa George" as we had nicknamed him from the staff at J.T. Farnhan's Restaurnant in Essex, Ma.A coworker attended his church and gave us the nickname. He came faithfully with his wife every Friday night and ordered one small clam for himself and one small shrimp for his wife. While in line he share many funny jokes with us! He would take his food to go and go park at Woodman's where his wife liked the view and the seagulls! We thougth this was hilarious because we have the million dollar view. As George had difficulty driving in the dark he came earlier and when their appetites decreased he would share a small box of 1/2 shrimp and 1/2 clams. He said his wife only ate 5 and he couldn't eat his and 1/2 of hers! Last time I saw George was on a Sunday drive last Fall. He had visited his lovely wife at the nursing home and took a scenic drive to see us. He was a very special guy and we will always remember his wonderful positive spirit and his wonderful and funny jokes!. I didin't realize he had a son.
