I am so sorry for your loss. When my relative in NC told me about his death, I looked in my notes from my Grandmother, Etta Leigh Horner Butner, and knew George was the son of my Grandmother's brother, Mack. I am the daughter of Etta's oldest son, Douglas Butner. The obituary picture looks a lot like one of Etta's other sons, George Calvin Butner, deceased last year. I am sorry I never got to meet George Horner. May he RIP.
What a pleasure it was to deal with Dr.Horner & his lovely wife in the management of their rental home. He will surely be missed here at the Rivertowne Rental office. God Bless You All!!
My deepest sympathy to the family for your loss. I am a first cousin of George and remember visiting him at his home
along with my sisters, Patsy and Peggy.
May you find peace through your many memories.

Arneda and family - "Doc" was such a warm and caring person and I always loved visiting him at his office. He was a great chiropractor. I am saddened by his loss and grateful to have known him. He was an inspiration.
I am certainly sorry for your loss. I remember him playing in the band at the shrine meetings. He was always very kind to me.
