Glenda and I were friends at East Lake Jr. High....we didn't stay in touch after this as she went to Central and I to City...but I've thought of her often..and remember soooo many good times in our young years!! Praying for peace with the family. Juanita Collake Oliver
On behalf of the Central High School Alumni Association and Supporters, I would like to express our deepest sympathy to you in the death of one of the greatest classmates anyone could ever have. Glenda was a jewel. I have sent information to our Class of 1960 Alumni. I am getting so many emails back. We all loved her smiling face and wonderful personality.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

President, Central High School Alumni Association
Glenda was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Bobby, you were very fortunate to have 50 years with her. When the family would get together we would discuss her breast cancer and my thyroid cancer. I would really "feel bad" for her and she would say, "Don't feel bad for me at all, I know where I'm going." She was in remission, as was I, at this point. I didn't get to see her much, but when I did she was a joy to be around. I have a heavy heart right now, I wish I had known earlier, I would have been glad to help in any way. Love you cousin Bobby. You have some beautiful daughters and siblings to lean on.
Glenda and I were classmates and she was always fun to be around. She was not only beautiful on the outside but also on the inside. I am sure she will be missed by all who knew her, I enjoyed the times at school with her.
Uncle Bobby I am praying for you and the entire family. I love you all very much! Aunt Glenda was one of the best people I know.
