Mr. and Mrs. Vaughan lived beside my Grammy on Hood Drive before moving to Mechanicsville. I spent a lot of time with them and their granddaughter Jennifer and remember them fondly. Mr. Vaughan was a very kind man with a great sense of humor. I loved the beautiful pictures he took. He loved Tisha the cat and Penny the dog. My prayers are with you.
Virginia, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember you fondly, as my beloved Jack thought so much of you. My prayers for your comfort and peace are with you at this time. Linda M. Steele
We knew Mr. Vaughan for over 30 years. He answered the call to defend the free world in World War II and returned, a decorated war veteran , a testimony tto The Greatest Generation. Above all he was truly a Christian gentleman. We will miss him very much.
I believe Gordon was an outstanding gentleman and a wonderful representative of his era. It was a pleasure knowing him and I will always treasure our conversations.
