I found this individual and team photo in the 1971 PHS year book. Greg was the 1st #1 singles & double champion in the Mid-State Conference in PHS history. I was fortunate to be his doubles partner.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a family member brings sadness; however, the memories of all the good times will help through this transition My prayers are with you and the family.

Dear Mary and Family:

Greg was my first boss at Chunky's Pancake and Steakhouse. Greg was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He had such a kind soul. Over the years, Greg and I have remained friends through thick and thin. I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and all of your family. I just want you to know Greg touched my heart and I will always remember his kindness. He was definitely one of a kind. He will truly be missed! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!

I was saddened to hear of Greg's passing. He was a great friend - an even better tennis player (and doubles partner in high school and after). Our paths crossed numerous times over the years and I was always happy to see or talk to him. When he moved to Florida (I have lived in Florida for the past 10 years), we promised to connect - but life got in the way and we never did. He cheated death more than once with heart ailments and from smoking (and I always gave him a hard time about it). I can see that great mischevious smile saying "don't worry about me, CJ" I'll be allright. I hope and pray that he is in a better place now and that the family can remember the good times more than the challenging times. He will be forever in my thoughts.
