Gwendoline Lydia Gagnon

Gwen and I went through the angst of our teen years together. There were 3 of us, Gwen, Gladys, and myself, Evelyn. We had so many laughs and good times. My condolences to everyone in the family. She was an original RIP my dear friend.

Dearest Lee, Lisa, Jack and the entire Gagnon/Slade family,
My sincerest sympathy and deepest love go out to all of you. Gwen was an amazing mother, wife, friend, colleague and the most genuine and authentic woman.
She welcomed me into the family instantly, with a great big smile, bright, shining eyes and the warmest embrace, which, lovingly, she gave me every time I saw her. Her love, smiles and laughter will be sorely missed, fortunately for me, I still get glimpses of her when I see Lee and Lisa smile and laugh. They love you so very much, as did everyone you graced with your wonderful, giving, caring and loving powers. You are a superhero!
I am privileged and honored to have loved you! Be at peace forever more...

It was with deep sadness that I read of Gwen's passing. As a past colleague at the Ministry of Finance I will always remember Gwen for her ready smile and constant laughter. My deepest sympathy to each of you for this terrible loss.

I am honored to have been able to share in the last year of your life with you. It was definitely a one in a million chance that I happened to meet you and your wonderful family who has been so kind to me. I don't regret for one minute any of the time I have spent with you and Jack. You became my friend who always managed to put a smile on my face, made me laugh and whom I loved sharing stories with. You were a remarkable woman who wore her heart on her sleeve and put up quite the battle against your illnesses. My dear lovely lady although you are now resting peacefully, you will be missed very much.
