Hannelore Hayes (Storace)
Michelle, although we have never met I knew your Mom. Betty and Joe are my parents. I remember the very first time I met Hannelore. Yes, way back in 1957, when I was 6 years old. Uncle Sam brought Aunt Martha and all the girls to Poppy's house. I will never forget it. I thought they were all fascinating, and oh so interesting to listen to their exotic language. Actually I was mesmerized. I had cousins from a far away place spending Christmas with us. I remember it snowing. . . the day they arrived and the girls were so excited to see the snow. She will always be in my heart. I wonder to this day if that was just the beginning of my journey to far away places. Your Mom touched a lot of people and she will be missed for it. Loss can be so hard, so when you are sad, remember your Mom touched a lot of peoples lives and she will be missed for it.
