Ohhh....it's been so many years and yet such a pang still runs through my heart to hear of Mr. Thayer's passing. He was like a roof over our heads, containing the warmth within....Tracy, Hilly, Jen, Mrs. Thayer, my deep condolences are with you....May these holidays bring many memories of the sweetness of him, and that when that poignant wave of grief rises up that you let it crest and cleanse your heart.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of your father and husband growing up and I know he had a powerful impact on me when seeing the love and kindness he always showed his family. When I recall the many dads of summer childhoods in Sakonnet, "Mr Thayer" was one of the kindest and friendliest of them all who always had time to say hello and ask about what I was up to.
