My thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this time of need!
To Gary and family. My prayers go out to you on your loss. I have fond memories of Helen. She was such a fine Christian lady.
Dear Gary and Sarah, Aunt Helen was my best Aunt. Great Aunt Helen taught me, as well as, many many other Graniteville children sixth grade English at Byrd Elementary. I learned the most English ever that year. Growing up, I lived just down the street on Trolley Line Road from Aunt Helen and Uncle Meade. My mom dropped in alot to visit Aunt Helen and Uncle Meade and where my mother went I went. Summer was fun at Aunt Helen's. She fixed healthy lunches for us and we went swimming in her pool. All the neighbors were cordially invited to use their pool. Aunt Helen was a Christian. I remember visiting their home often. The last summer before Aunt Helen had the stroke she was working on the upcoming summer Vacation Bible School unit. It was The Rain Forest. My mother told me Aunt Helen taught Vacation Bible School at Warrenville Baptist Church year after year. Aunt Helen gave me a beautiful bracelet for high school graduation and a beautiful gift when I married. I kept her card. She wrote, "I hope your marriage is as happy as Meade's and my marriage has been." When she took her last breath here her next breath was taken in Heaven! What a blessing!
My deepest sympathy to my dear family and my love,
Heaven rejoiced when a fine Christian lady and Great Aunt entered on Monday, January 28, 2013.
My prayers go out to the family! She was a wonderful teacher! She tought me in Sixth grade and till this day I live by something she always use to tell me, "Can't never could until they tried" I will never for get that!
She was my kindergarten teacher 1950-1951 at Warrenville 1st Baptist Church. My PRAYERS are with you Gary and the rest of the family.
