Henry Green Jennings

I had the pleasure and honor of meeting Henry recently for the first time. We shared our experiences as veterans and veterans advocates. I am forever blessed to have had that small amount of time with him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Richard and family,
I know how much your dad was a part of your life. It was always warming and reassuring to see the relationship of you two.
I am sorry that I was out of town this week and was not able to be there. Thanks for your service to our Lord and may he bless you and your family.

Henry was a very important person in my life and I always respected him and valued our relationship. He never once let me down or failed to support me and I am so glad that years ago I made him aware of how important he had been to me over the years. I am sad to see him go and will always remember him as the man that filled my dad's empty shoes for 30 years. We will all miss this Role model man. Now he is with my Lauren and never to be parted again.

Henry was a true giant of a man - full of honor, grace and humility. A great example for other men of all ages. May he rest in peace in the eternal presence of his Savior. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the family at this time of great loss.
