Dr. Herbert A Bartholomew
Dr. Bart was a wonderful doctor and friend. He delivered my twins in 1967 in Glens Falls. So happy to have had him in my life.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Claire for you and your family. I remember meeting your Mom and Dad when they came out for your wedding seems like yesterday what a nice couple they were. Love you
Herb was a wonderful man. I have many fond memories from my childhood and from recently as well. And Claire, rem when he and Dad had that joke going about Smucker's jelly?! What was that all about?! I rem them laughing about it in Augusta. He was hilarious. He was so helpful to us last fall when dad was sick.
Claire and Vicki: I'm really going to miss Herb. We shared many things the last few years: canoeing on lakes and rivers in the Adirondacks, memories of college days, Democrat politics, books exchanged and read, anguish over the troubles of our sons, love of Zion church. He helped me through a time of deep depression. I admired his energy, determination, knowledge of people and inquisitive spirit. I really hope to make it to his memorial service to help celebrate a life well lived. Sincerely, Rev. Ken Clark, Tipp City, Ohio.
I am so sorry for your loss. Herb was one of a kind, for sure. And reading some of these messages, sounds like he made such a lovely difference for so many families. What a legacy. I know his love for you will stay with you forever. Xoxo
