My Uncle Herman was quite character in the family with some tales we kids loved to hear again and again. I remember as a young girl seeing some nice paintings and his unusual paper weights with beautiful stones inside. He was a very talented artist and craftsman.

I am glad I was able to see him the last time at the family reunion in Washington in 2005. He told me right away, "Di-annne, you've got the ole' Wylie family gray (hair)" in that Okie accent! I got the best laugh out of that very true comment about my hair.

I look forward to that final resurrection to see him again where he will have a life free from pain and be given a rich life to accept in the Kingdom of God.

Thanks for all the condolences to the family during this time. Your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated. Herman experienced many adventures through out his life time and loved to tell about them. Thank you from his sister Evelyn

I don't think I ever met Herman. I have heard stories and have seen so many pics of him recently. (With that being said it reminds me of my own siblings and our family photos.) you really get to see their personality and character. And boy did uncle Herman keep the family on their toes. May he rest in peace.

And I can see it now the reunion in the heavens! He is home..

I was blessed to have met Uncle Herman in 2005 at our family reunion. He shared some wonderful stories about himself, his family and especially with my mom, Rosalie
