Dear Debbie and Kim, I was so sorry to learn of the loss of your Dad. I had so much respect for Pat, not only through our family connection but also from working for him. He was a true southern gentleman. This community has benefitted greatly from your Dad's contributions. I feel truly blessed to have known him. I know you both were "Daddy's Girls". My prayers are with you during this sad time.

Dear Brenda, John, and The Wood Family,
We were so honored to have met your fine gentleman husband a few years ago at several county comission meetings. I know how heartbroken you all must be. Just remember, God does not put anything on us that we cannot handle.
We are both praying for peace and comfort for all of you during this most difficult time. Much Love to you.
Our sincere sympathy to all of Pat's family and friends.

To Pat's family - Pat and I graduated at Young High School in 1946. His success, both in business and as a fine person, was already evident then. My admiration for Pat began at school, and has never wavered. My thoughts and prayers have been with you since I learned of his passing.

Debbie and Kim -- I was so sad to hear of your dad's passing. I wasn't able to attend the memorial service yesterday, but know that you and your families have been in my thoughts. I have such warm memories of Uncle Pat from my childhood -- he always made the holiday gatherings fun and memorable.

Pat was a pleasure to work with, a man of his word and a person who had the most amazing recall for details of conversations from years past. In spite of his tremendous success, he maintained a welcoming and humble demeaner. He will be missed by all who knew him.
