Mr. Brehm was my dear friend. My prayers go out to his family at this difficult time. He was a man of deep faith and he's now in the arms of our Creator. God bless his memory.
Condolences to all who knew and loved Howard. I am a distant relative; a grandchild of Alice Legere Richard one of Edese's sisters. My father was Numa Richard,Jr(Junior) from Rayne, but married and raised his family near Aline Sonnier's family in Scott. Enjoyed corresponding with Tante Edese and am sure Howard was a fine man and will be missed by many.

Howard, When you were attending Tulane University. I met you at a Hotel Dieu nurses dance. You were such a gentlemen and became a very good friend.I thank you for the many enjoyable operas.May you rest in peace. My condolences to your family. Brenda Bourgeois Pisciotta.
Howard sounds like a man of several talents, the humor part probably inherited from his grand parents, Uncle Mentor and Tant Edesse, and most of your aunts and uncles, all of whom were very good at looking at the light side. I don't believe I ever met Howard although I am first cousin to Della, sixth child (and last remaining) of Andre and Elodie (Legere) Falcon. Rest in peace!
