Howells "Bud" Miller Jr.

We just found out today about the passing of our dear precious friend. He had been a patient of ours for some time. We are so saddened that we did not know he had passed.
Our memories of Bud.... where do we start? His personality and that smile were contagious. We loved hearing about his travels, bowling and the UT Vols. He was our buddy. He would stop by even if he didn't have an appointment just to give us chocolates. He will be missed by all.
We are so blessed to have known such a wonderful, loving man.
If there is anyway we can contribute to something that was dear to him please someone give us a call at the office; 423-870-9567. We are so sorry we didn't know. Our hearts are broken.
We loved our Bud!!!!

I know you are in a much better place now. No more suffering,no more tears, & no more worries. You are in a lot better place than we are. Now, you get to be with all your loved ones that have been waiting for you so you guys can sit & laugh at us. I know that life is busy & we get to busy to talk or visit but that doesn't mean that you ain't thought about or loved. I 'll miss you & forever love you great uncle Bud...RIP

Bud was a great boss, and friend. He always had a smile and a hug for you anywhere or anytime he saw you. We watched many Armed Forces Day parades together while I worked for him. He was very proud of his military career.

Feel no guilt in laughter, Bud would know how much you care,
Feel no sorrow in a smile that he's not here to share.

You cannot grieve forever, he would not want you to.
He'd hope that you would carry on, the way you always do.

So, talk about the good times and the ways you showed you cared,
The days you spent together, and all the happiness you shared.

Let memories surround you, a word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day.

That brings him back as clearly as though he were still here
And fills you with the feeling that he is always near.

For if you keep those moments, you will never be apart
And Bud will live forever locked within our hearts.

Bud has been a part of our family since 1995 -- at all of our Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthday, and other special gatherings -- he is loved and will be missed - Love, Ruth, Dee, Doug, David, DeeAnn, Jake, & Jack Pullen
