I am so sorry to hear of Giles passing while I was on a family trip to Chicago, and have now returned to Cincinnati. Giles and I discovered in our first days at the Academy that we had interviewed and tested together at WPAFB in Dayton, OH. I knew him as a gentle friend from that day on, and will miss him. Jack Hundemer, AFA Class of 59..
Jean, I just heard tonight about Gile's passing. I am very sorry to hear that but I hope your memories of the good times the two of you had will carry you through these difficult times.
THERE IS A GREAT LOSS WITH THE PASSING OF GILES, I JUST FOUND OUT TODAY, I HAVE ONLY KNOWN HIM AS A CLASS MATE AT PERRYSBURG HIGH AND ONLY NOW HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE OF HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN A VERY SUCCESSFUL LIFE
I only heard this morning that Giles had passed when he was honored at a faculty meeting at Scott High School. Giles was always so happy, and had such a wonderful sense of humor. I am so sad. My sincere condolences to the whole family.
I am sad to hear of Giles death. He was a good friend at the Academy--calm, easy going, never complained, always cheerful and fun company. I am more sad that we lost contact as the demands of life took its toll and we drifted apart as time passed.
