Our appreciation of Col. Hugh Fenzel is multi-generational. He and Miriam were participants in my late parents wedding, Hugh and Wray Wilson, at Columbia First Presbyterian Church in 1940 and when I began my military career with the Reserves and Guard through ROA, Col. Fenzel was an inspiration.

We are so sorry about the death of Mr. Fenzel. We thank him for his service to our country, fighting to rid our world of tyranny, cruelty and injustice. We owe so much to "The Greatest Generation", of which he was obviously a big part.
We lost Perry's father, also a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge, on April 5, so we know what your are going thru. These awesome men are to be eternally thanked and treasured for what they did for us all.
We hope and pray that family and loved ones will find strength in your faith and your memories.
