I am so so very sad to hear this news today. Seems communications were off and I just now heard from Kathie that India had passed away. To Kathie I am so very sorry for your loss your mother was one amazing lady. I am always here for you rather you need to talk on the phone or come here to Asheville for a visit. I LOVED your mom so much. India I am so very sad. I just wanted so badly to hear your voice tonight and never expected I would get the call back that you had passed. I am sorry I missed your service if I had known I would of been there. I wish I had been there and had the chance to say goodbye. I was blessed the day I met you in 1989 and all these years later. I love you India and I miss you so very much.
I was so sad to hear the news . Kathy, i got the message a week late, i was traveling oversees and just returned. I will always cherish my memories and times with India. Her wonderful sense of humor and love. My memories go back so far as i remember the day she married Walt and became our neighbor. Spiro feels so bad too. He loved India. When i called him when i returned, he asked how's India. We both feel bad we were not there for the memorial service. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as i know your pain and loss is great.
I was blessed enough to be India's neighbor for almost 6 years and it was a pleasure to know her. She was a great woman and my wife (Ginny) and I will always remember her. I will definitely miss all of the times just talking to her and joking around. She will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I loved India so much, she was so kind and sweet and such a blessing in my life. She will be missed. God bless you and your family thought this time of sadness. Love Debora
