My Mom was amazing! She was a beehive of activity - always a list of things to do, to care for her family. Cooking, cleaning, preserving foods, managing the farm books, helping Dad with his community work, visiting the sick and elderly in the community hospitals, gathering food and clothing for the needy. Never in bed before 1am, never out of bed later than 5:30am. And she did this, year after year - and continued doing it long after her fingers became knarled with arthritis and her back bowed from scoliosis. She was fiercely loyal to her family - you never wanted to mess with her kids, her husband, her parents! She and Dad were more than solid rocks to lean against - they were boulders - they were mountains. They were - they are - the finest parents with which I could ever have been blessed. I miss you, Mom - you're ever in my thoughts. I love you so much. I'll see you and Dad in the Morning.
Carol and to all of the family, my sincere condolences in the loss of your loved one. I well remember her and you Carol . Janice Miles
