Though I never knew Jake, I know his father. If he was anything like his parents, he was a good man, full of love for God and Christ. A man who believed in his principles, and dedicated to God, Country, and Family. I can only hope and pray that time will heal the wounds that are open and sore right now for Holly, Bob, Sam and the rest of the family. You have my prayers and deepest condolences, shallow that may seem. May He continue to comfort you.

We have known Jake for about 10 years and in that time he has always been respectful and conducted himself with honor and dignity. We are all deeply saddened by this tragedy. We take great comfort in knowing he is with our Heavenly Father and knowing we will see him again one day. We hold your family dear to our hearts and we are praying for you all.

Jake,
My best memory of you was when my sister and I were at your house with your little brother. It was during that time Matt and Hollie were getting married; we played Super Smash Brothers and we thought it was the coolest thing ever. You gave us tips on how to beat Harry Potter the PC game. We played with our walkie talkies. I'll never forget you.
Love,
Audrey

Jake always seemed like such a quiet and reserved young man to me. He was so good with, and enjoyed the younger children. When I saw him in December, he was a very distinguished gentleman. He carried himself with pride and dignity. I am proud and honored to have had such a fine young man as a part of my life experience.

Jake touched our lives with kindness, humor, compassion and honor. I know he is an officer in the kingdom of heaven now and we miss him and look forward to seeing him again. A true inspiration, thank you Lord for the time we had with him.
