Manoy Jarmy is our eldest. When father died in 1956, he became the primary bread winner of the family. He was the source of strength of our mother. He supported our studies. He was meager with words, but abundant in kindness, love, and care. When I saw him in Manila last year, his leg was swollen and he could hardly walk. But he was not complaining, was in high spirits in fact. I knew it was just a matter of time. Then we learned sometime later that his cancer had gone to the bones. I wrote him a letter expressing how much I appreciated what he did for all of us his siblings. No words can ever express gratitude so sincerely felt. No tears can speak the sorrow of losing someone so dearly loved.
We will always remember you in our hearts , you will surely be missed. Our love and prayers.

We mourn the loss of a beloved brother,
Manoy Jarmy! He was an older brother and became my 2nd father, when our Dad passed away at 56 years of age. Manoy Jarmy put his life on hold to make sure we, his younger brother & sisters, finished our college education. I am where I am today, because of his unselfish love & sacrifice for all of us.
He leaves behind a dutiful & devoted wife, Ate Nor... and their three loving children - Jaybee, Nenette, & Tec-Tec. They all have been blessed to have shared the life of a truly great man! We all have been blessed for having lived our lives with him. He was such a wonderful son, protective brother, loving husband, wonderful father to his children, caring uncle to his many nieces & nephews, doting grandpa.... and a wonderful friend to his buddies & co-workers. He will be
truly missed! He is one who truly exemplifies Steven Covey's principles
... " Live, Love, & Leave a Legacy".
Goobye, my beloved brother, may you rest in peace.... God Speed!!!
