Ray was a good and true friend. I still have a few memories of him in my pond and will forever remember him. My wife and I loved his stories, the pig roasts he sponsored here in Atlanta, his absolute joy and passion for Koi and anyone who shared those passions.
My wife and I express our sincerest sympathy's to his family.

Shirley, I don't expect you to remember me but I certainly remember you and Ray. I used to come to the koi events with Jessie. I left Northern Virginia and live in Prince George now. I was shocked when I read the paper and saw that Ray had passed. He was such a recognized expert on koi and had such a kind soul. May you and your family find peace in knowing he is with the Lord.
