I was so saddened to learn of Alex's demise. After his retirement from Vought, we simply lost touch. I was always reminded of his December birthday because I tracked it on my calendar, but I was never able to contact him. Alex was the first person I became friends with after having moved here some 29 years ago. He was instrumental in my being hired at Vought and I've always appreciated him so deeply for that. I pray for his family--especially his children (Junior and Tiff)--that they will be comforted by the memory of his loving spirit for them and his zest for life. May he rest in eternal peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

To the Family of James Alex, Sr.

My husband, sister-in-law and I worked with James at Vought Aircraft, whom we call "Mr. Jim". We rushed out for his retirement party but he had departed when we arrived. We all retired before he did and we got the message late. We often speak of the times when he would fry fish for us....awesome! He will be missed and we submit our prayers for the family.
