Dear Inella and Family,

We are so very sorry to hear about the passing of Jim. I will never forget the day we moved in next door to Jim and Inella a couple of years ago. As John and I stood in our back yard for the first time, we looked over to our neighbor (Jim) and couldn't help but smile when we saw how happy he seemed chipping and putting in his back yard. We saw this as true Divine intervention given that we come from a long line of golfers! Jim immediately came to talk to us and welcome us to the neighborhood. We felt right at home from the first moment we met! From that day forward, we so looked forward to our time at the Cape in our second home...catching up with our neighbors, hearing the latest golf updates from Jim, seeing Jim and Inella taking off for the gym every morning (wow!). We miss our Cape house and our neighbors. We just know that Jim is chipping and putting in a better place now and with no limitations. We're sure he'll have all the courses figured out by the time we get to wherever it is that we go! Our love and prayers to all of you as you move through this difficult time.

Aunt Inella and all my cousins. You are in my prayers. I am so very grateful that Jim and I had the chance to visit and get to know my family again. Uncle Jimmie reminded me of my dad Alvin Arthur both soft spoken and full of fun. Two wonderful men.
Thank you aunt Inella you let me see a wonderful couple in action. With all my love Evelyn (Arthur ) Metz

I know Jim now occupies a special place in heaven. He and Inella were such special people during the time Sue and I were roommates at Katharine Gibbs in 1964/65 and then while we shared our first two apartments. They graciously invited me to spend Christmas with their family during that time. I consider myself so lucky to have seen him last September (after 40 plus years). What a kind and rare gentleman he was. Heaven has a star.
