Sarah-- a mutual friend just sent me the notification. James was a great friend and your family had a special place in my heart. I'm sorry that we had lost touch over the last several years. Give my regards to your sons and words can't express my sorrow for your loss. Please give me a call when you are able to do so. GOD BLESS! Jim
To the entire Bacon family:
Our hearts go out to you at this time. May you always recall James' best qualities and our Heavenly Father's empathy for you all.
When our master begins that special call
To dear loved ones who in death sleep
What glee there'll be once James sits up
With great emotion, tears of joy you'll weep
Such works of art that spring from him
Arise from deep satisfaction within
He won't want for subjects to fill a canvas
For on God's own patronage his talents depend
Such beautiful music to delight our ears
Can exude from James' newly perfected mind
On instruments he builds with his own two hands
Gratitude is great inspiration, he'll find.
Yet his main focus won't be music or art
But on learning the fine art of true love
He'll have God's Son to show him how
To shower on neighbors, fitting warm as gloves
What else does our Father rightly deserve
But our loyalty and loving obedience
As we await his kingdom to come on earth
While exercising godly patience
For the time has passed for us to think
We'll be rewarded without working hard
So consult God's word, and imitate his Son
And our father will hold you in highest regard
Sarah, Wes and Will.
I am sorry that I didn't know this in time for the service. My heart goes goes out to you all. Like Wes said, he is in a better place and not in pain. May God comfort you at this time. Sarah, I will keep you and your family in my prayers as always for peach. I love you all. Tammy Henderson

Dear Sarah, Walt, Wade, Wes, Will and family,
I just recived an e-mail from Judy E. and learned of James' death. (AJC) We are so sorry for your loss of James. We loved him also.
We have lots of funny, strange, happy, weird memories of James from our years living next door on the lake. James was one of a kind! Without even asking, we could suddenly receive art lessons, a history lecture, a musical concert and more! We never knew what to expect with James! Oh me, remember those travel slide shows...that went on for hours??!!
Sarah, James loved each of you so very much! I think he liked to act like a Big Bear at times. But he had a kind heart and would help me (us) or anyone, if asked. Still remember tears in his eyes as he watched our Bride Beautiful "Leslie" going down the aisle on her Dad's arm! He had watched her grow up since the first grade.
Sarah, May God surround each of you with His Love and Care during this time and in the months to follow. Even with broken hearts, we can all rejoice that James is healed and walking with Jesus in Heaven now!
Sorry we missed James' visitation tonight, but we didn't know in time. Trying to get our act together and hope to make James' service on Friday.
God Bless Each of You. Stay Strong! Our Love, Jim & DiAnn Cox
