Know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember James as a kind, compassionate man.
Dear Doris & Cindy, we send you and your family our sympathy. We have some special memories of Jim, although they may be few, in the short time that we have known you all. May you and your family find peace in your dearest memories of this kind man. May God find him a special place in Heaven, as he watches over you all, in your journeys through life. He has made a place in our hearts, too.
WE WENT BY COLLISON CARY THIS EVENING TO PAY TRIBUTE TO OUR BROTHER IN CHRIST,JIM BAKER.WE HUGGED THE FAMILY AND TOLD THEM WE LOVE AND ARE PRAYING FOR THEM. ANYTIME WE FIND OURSELVES IN THAT SITUATION, THE QUESTION THAT COMES TO MIND IS "WAS HE READY TO GO ?"WE THANK GOD OUR FRIEND SETTLED THIS MATTER MANY YEARS AGO WHEN HE TOOK JESUS AS HIS PERSONAL SAVIOUR. AND SINCE THAT TIME HE HAS SERVED CHRIST WELL, ALWAYS BEING TRUE AND FAITHFUL TO THE LORD ,TO HIS CHURCH AND TO THE HIGHEST AND BEST THINGS OF LIFE. A TRUE MAN OF GOD...WE WILL MISS HIM , BUT WE WILL SEE HIM AGAIN IN GLORY.
It was interesting to discover that Jamey's Dad was my ass't principal at Colonial High school back in the late 1960's. I work with Jamey at UCF. He was a man of many talents and have heard so many wonderful things about him over the years from Jamey. Sending hugs to family and friends who loved him so dearly. Diane Colvin Reitz
