The world has lost a great man. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, big Jim. Rest in peace.
Dear Julie, so sorry to hear about your dad. I remember him as a wonderful, kind man and community leader. He was one of the people that made Connersville a great place to live when we were growing up there. You were so fortunate to have had him as your dad.
Steve & Connie
Peggy, Scott & Julie,
So sorry to hear about Uncle Jim. My prayers are with each of you.
To The Hancock Family,
Just a note to say how honored I was to know Jim and work with him at the plant. He was a real southern gentleman.
My condolences to the family.
Peggy, Julie, Scott, and family,
I just wanted all of you to know how very much I love all of you and how very much I loved Uncle Jim.
I'll always remember his laugh and how funny he was when he would pick at us and joke with us when we were growing up.
All of my family on both sides have always been so special to me and that certainly includes all of y'all and Uncle Jim. Y'all...that's Southern speak for "you guys" in case you've forgotten! :o)
I have so many wonderful childhood memories of growing up with my cousins and aunts and uncles at Granny and Pap Pap's.
I also loved when I got older how much fun it was when the aunts and uncles (Uncle Deacon, Dot, Donna, Willie, Uncle Jim, and Peggy} would get together with Mama and Daddy and share stories about being young and all the interesting and funny things that they would all tell and talk about. I could sit there and listen to those stories for hours.
I want you to know that Uncle Jim's memory will live on in my heart just as it will in each of yours.
You're all in my thoughts and prayers.
