James "Jim Ed" E. Lawrence Sr.
I had breakfast with Angie Clark Blevins this morning and she told me that Mr. Lawrence had passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. If I had known earlier, I would have come to visitation. His son Jim was one of my closest friends in highschool!
Laura Lloyd Boyd (Cleveland, TN)
I was sad to hear about Jim. I worked with him at the funeral home when I was a teenager. He was always very kind to me and a gentleman to everyone.
Mr Lawrence was so kind to me as a chaplain with Hospice of Chattanooga. He was always ready.to help me and teach me. I value his friendship and that of his son Jim who was a great nurse at hospice. God bless you. Aline Summerlin, retired Chaplain with Hospice of Chattanooga

I am so sorry to hear about Jim. He was a good friend and it was a pleasure to work with him for several years. I will not be able to see you at visitation, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.
Jim Ed was our class president! He was outstanding in every way at Rockwood High School. I am giving a memorial donation in his name to the Rockwood High Scholarship Fund. Jo An Howard Gaines, Los Angeles, California
