Jimmy always had a joke to tell every time I met him. It was a struggle for me to come up with one in return. I always enjoyed his humor. Never knew what to expect when he pulled into the parking lot at Sea Island

Uncle Jimmy, may you rest in peace! Give a big hug to Nanny, Eddie and Michael for me! In our house Big Jim Nick will forever be known as Capo de Tutti Capi, which is how he introduced himself poolside at Nassau Country Club to our sons when they were just three and five. As always, he made a huge impression and they never forgot who was really in charge at Nassau. Checking in with Boss of All Bosses became part of our daily summer routine. It has been many years since we saw Jim, but we remember him with great affection and respect, and share in the Nick family's sorrow over the loss of this larger than life man. With all of our love, Eddie, Julia, Ned and Billy Brennan
