We are very sorry to learn of James' passing. He was our classmate at PHS; and will be missed by many. Our condolences go out to all of his family.
I had the privilege,in prior years, of being involved in the care of Mrs. Minnie Shows and her son Jim Shows ,with the capable assistance of sister(and Nurse) Gretta, among others. They faced the ravages of severe heart disease with intelligence and courage and with as positive an outlook in the circumstances, as one could ever expect to see.The family,in this time of grief, can take pride in their legacy.
I knew Shows at the Computer Sciences Lab.He was a good fellow and will be missed.
I got to know James while he was working at the Math Lab at Eglin AFB. He was a very good friend. I continued to send e-mail messages after we retired from the Math Lab. My Thought and prayers are with his family and loved ones at this time.
