We like to think he is swing dancing his way to Heaven. A good guy, straight up and a pleasure to be around. Our heart goes out to his family.
Jim was such a special man. He always had a hug and a smile for you. He even had a joke to make you laugh. We are going to miss him. We love all of you.
Dear Jean and family I am so sorry for your loss. I used to work with Jim in the Drilling group in Midland. He was a great joy to be around. Always smiling. That's how I remember him and will continue to. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Wyn and I are so sorry for you loss. This was one fine man and he will be greatly missed. I always loved the watch those two dance and enjoy the joy they had in doing so !
Mrs. Summer: I am devastated with the loss of Mr. Summer, but am assured that he is talking the ears off the angels in his wonderful west Texas drawl! I loved talking to him anytime he called the Office of Alumni & Development at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. He was a true gentleman and there was no doubt that he loved this university! I will greatly miss our visits on the phone. My heartfelt condolences.
