Jim was our photographer for the beach house. When the house was completely destroyed by Hurricane Ike, I was anticipating what the insurance company might want. I sent Jim an e-mail asking if he had any interior shots which might help in assessing the value of the contents. I recall saying,"It's not like we had a baby grand piano or anything like that." He sent back a retort that indeed we had had a baby grand piano but we had probably not noticed it under the original Picasso painting on the wall. Accompanying a reply so typical of Jim was a photo showing our main room complete with the piano and the painting! Wonderful sense of humor and talent combined. He will be greatly missed.
