My parents and Mr. and Mrs. Davis were vast friends and their family is entwined with my early memories of growing up on Washington Place in Edwardsville, IL. Mr. Davis also helped me get my first job out of college with Shell Oil Company and taught me about sailing in Houston, TX. He was a kind, gentle soul. I am so sorry for your loss.
My condolences and prayers to his family during this time of grief. What a wonderful journey of pictures of Mr. Davis and his loved ones. From my friendship with sweet Barb, I know he raised a wonderful family with great values and kindness throughout because she is a great friend and a great daughter. He will truly be missed.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Phyllis, Barbara & Skip and Kent & Robin and family on the loss of their husband and dad. We had the privilege of getting to know Jerry and family while on an Alaskan cruise. We have continued the friendhship with the family for many years since the trip. Jerry was a very special person. He had a wonderful outlook on life and a great love for his family. He was a true gentleman. He will be sorely missed. God bless Jerry and his family.
My condolences to the Davis family. What a fine example of true love that Mr. Davis set for his family concerning marriage vows to his loving wife. May the family cherish the fond memories of Mr. Davis.
Barbara, thank you for sharing the photos. So many smiles; so much love! Please know that you and your family are in our hearts and minds. You are certainly in my prayers. Celebrate your father's life!
