Patricia and Family, Fran and Don,
I share your sense of sadness at the loss of our dear Jeanne. I have such fond memories of when she, Uncle Mac, Sandy and Jim would visit us in Penna. To us, Aunt Jeannie was the "Jackie Kennedy of Kansas City" - so beautiful, elegant and charming - qualities that she possessed to the very end. I know I'm not alone in saying she will be deeply missed. You will always remain in my heart, Aunt Jeannie, a beautiful, sweet spirit! Our heartfelt condolences to all of you.
Jeanne was indeed one of the truly good people I have known. She invited me on my first Ozarks expedition and the next year Jimmy and I played our first round of golf with her at the old Blue Hills Country Club course (62nd & Paseo area). That was over fifty years ago, so I count her as a life-long friend. Jeanne adored Mac, Sandy, and Jimmy-she was the anchor of their family. RIP, "Mrs. McAllister."
I would always address my Aunt Jeannie with adjectives such as, "The Bedazzling Jean" or "Jean The Magnificent!". This tickled her fancy as she always looked forward to my version of her glorious personality traits! So my last greeting is a beloved farewell to "The Eternally Beautiful Jean" who now sparkles with the stars and illuminates the heavens with her glow. She will be dearly missed and loved forever in my heart.
My deepest sympathy to Patricia and family, Fran, and all of Jeanne's loved ones and friends. I only met Jeanne a few times but she was indeed a lovely lady. Such a sweet spirit. She will be deeply missed. Becka Guffey
