I am deeply saddened by the loss of Jere, a loving husband and best friend to Jacquie and a very proud father to Alan. First time I met Jere was up in Franklin, MA. I was chasing my Old English Sheepdog puppy through the woods not knowing where I would end up. Shortly after the chase began I could hear a voice saying "Jacquie come quick, it's an Old English puppy". At that point I met Casey and Daisy, 2 full grown Old English dogs and their owners, Jacquie and Jere. That was the day I was blessed with two wonderful friends. Jere was a kind man with a great sense of humor and he needed that humor especially when Jacquie and I got together. There was a day when Jacquie decided to teach me the art of cooking a whole chicken. Jere walked in while I had the chicken dancing on the table. The look on his face was priceless and of course he had his comical statements to go along. I can go on with so many stories but space won't allow so I will end by saying hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends for strength and always remember how much you are loved and cared about.
