The journeys we made at work seemed hard at times but the journey of the past year as Mr. Hastings traveled Home was the hardest. Thank you for sharing with me. The love, devotion, caring you all exemplified touched my heart forever. What a Legacy he left and what a blesing Pam, Ms. Hastings, Steve, Linda, the grandchildren and greatgrandchilden were to him.
God keep all of you safe on this Earthly Journey. May you have a touch of Heaven in your heart where the pain is now and may God fill the empty spot with His love and your wonderful memories.

Dear Pam,

So sad for you and your mom. Lost my dad in '04 and still miss him and my mom ('98) every day 'cause no one can take their places. Sure hope life's been good to you during all those years since we played on Bayswater.

Eulogy for a Veteran

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousands words that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I didn't die.

While walking this earth, Jerry Hastings positively effected the lives of everyone he touched. My deep regret and my loss is not knowing him personally. I wish to extend my condolences to you as a family and to Pam in particular.
