I'm very sorry for your loss. Jessie was one of the best. I learned many things from him during my term as local chairman for 338. Jerry Anderton
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I never met your husband but I worked with you at Southern/South Central Bell from 1964 to 1972. I will be saying extra prayers for you and your family during this difficult time. Sincerely, Linda Smith
Condolences to the Carr Family and special prayers for Mrs. Carr. We were neighbors on Rogers Road for 27 years and the Carrs were the best neighbors anyone could have; a real blessing to our family. We moved to Rogers Road in April 1977 and our first son was born in May. That Christmas they gave our son a train bank (hand-made by Mr. Carr). Every year thereafter, our son received a birthday and Christmas card with money. Our second son was born in April 1981 and was added to the tradition, which continued until both were through college. We always have a laugh remembering when out eldest son would be late and miss the school bus and Mr. Carr would take them to school. This had gone on for at least a year or two before we found out. Mr. Carr will be truly missed. We pledge our prayers and continued support of Mrs. Carr. It was always a joy to see the love this couple shared for so long. RIP Neighbor.
