I extend my sincere sympathy to Rich and the rest of Joan's family. We taught together in Saint Vincent DePaul School in Bayonne. May she rest in peace.

I worked with Joan at St.Vincent's in Bayonne NJ. Her bubbly personality woke up the day. She was an excellent second grade teacher to the end of our school years. We closed in 2008 . She prepared those children for their sacrements as a good lay person would.

Joan was the first person I saw my first day at St. Therese youth group in Cresskill NJ; I will never forget her radiant smiling face; from that moment on we were great friends; she gave me the nick name "Shy Di"!!
My deepest sympathy to her husband, Rich, parents and brothers. She is now at peace.

We were saddened to hear the belated news from Barbara, my neighbor, and our co-choir member at St. Rita who saw the news from the advance. Being away for 2 weeks, I missed the news from the Facebook postings. Cora and I, and the rest of our group from the former St. Rita choir remember Joan as a wonderful lady with a happy disposition, not to mention her lovely soprano voice. To Rich my co-tenor, our heartfelt sympathy. May her soul rest in peace.
