Grace & John Gardner
What wonderful memories I have of Col and Mrs. Adie. I was blessed to have met them through my parents--Bill and Carol Carter--and they were always the nicest people you could imagine.
My name is John Campbell and I am a descendant of Archibald Campbell, your grandma Jessie's eldest brother and the only one of her siblings to move to Canada. Your cousin in MA was kind enough to forward this notice to me. Please accept my condolences for your loss. I lost my father, Paul, in 2009 and still miss him a great deal. He and your father were first cousins and contemporaries. Dad was born in June, 1916 and he too served in WWII. The obit and photos you have assembled are a wonderful tribute to your father. I wish I had had the opportunity to meet him. Take care.
