John William Alden

November 14, 2010
To our dear friends, Mickey and Evelyn and to the family of that very unique, Mr. Bill Alden...I send you our most deeptest sympathies. I loved your Daddy so much and his visits were always so special on Thompson Ridge. We surely shared many great moments during the 17 years that we knew him. He was the first man that ever kissed my hand and made me blush. I will miss that very special Gentleman. Carole and Hal Eitzen

He was known as Bill, Mr. Bill, Gentleman Bill and Charming Billy. He hailed from the South if you didn't know by talking to him and he was the 11th Great-Grandson (directly decended) of John Alden the pilgrim of 1620. This world is a much better place for his having been in it.
