Thank you to my cousins for sharing their papa with my brother and I. Tia Lupe thank you for looking after us when we were young. When my Tio Juan would come home from work we would stand in line for a hug and a kiss. He always have plenty of love to give. It made me so proud when we'd see him on his fire truck on the way to a call. I'm so very proud that you were my tio. Love you, May you rest in peace.
I was so sad when I heard about Uncle John. He was my Great-Great Uncle and I only met him once long ago. I knew he was my Uncle and I would always say "Hi Uncle John" every time I went by his house. My dad was named after him and I have his name too. I won't forget you Uncle John. I love you.
Thank you to all of Johns family for sharing John with us on the fire department. He left his fingerprints,,(ok and a few prints)on all of us that knew him. Not every community, Department or Family has a John, But we did!
Our deepest condolences to Comadre Lupe and Family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. "Que Dios bendiga al Compadre Juan y lo tenga en el cielo".
To the Andrade Family,
Cherish the memories that you have. I remember Captain Andrade as one of the most caring man that I have ever met. He taught the true value of customer service to the Glendale Fire Department. He took in every member as "His Son". His family always came first. He could cook one mean green chilly burro!
Rest in peace John.
