May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
I was so sad to hear this afternoon at a family gathering that Johnny had passed away and that I did not know it.....to all of the Aquilina family....Aunt Mary, Beulah, Angela, Mary and to all, I send my sincere condolences.I know that Johnny is at peace and happy to be with his loved ones. We have so many wonderful memories that we will cherish always of the Aquilina family with our family both in Houston and in Port Arthur.
We love you all very much and miss you.

Johnny Aquilina was my godfather and a Great Man, as was his brother Sam. Thru the many years of my childhood Johnny Aquilina 'never' forgot my birthday as I always got a birthday card or a phonecall or both. I loved to go and visit with him whether at the motel or at his home. My dad and Johnny were best of friends as I could tell by the way their faces would light up whenever we would get together. I go to Sicily once a year and always visit the cemetary where I say prayers for my Colletti family and the Aquilina family. May God accept Johnny Aquilina into Heaven with open arms. Love, (your godson) Matthew Colletti
