John K. August

Uncle John,

I can't believe you are gone. I thought you would always be there. I would rather believe you are somewhere having fun. Your spirit lives on.

We were close as children. I looked up to you (still do). As adults we grew apart, but you were and always will be in my heart.

To my family, those who are gone and those who remain, I love you all very much.

My sympathy goes out to the August family. I met John through Jim Brunner and had a lots of great times with John over the years going to sporting events and other activities. John was a great guy to hang out with, and talk about sports and current events. It was nice to see how he maintained lifelong friendships with Brunner and his childhood friends. I will miss him!
