We are very sorry and send you and your family our sympathies. John was a part of our early years growing up in Shelby. Like family, we played, argued, did crazy things, prayed and went to school together and we have many fond memories. We loved his sense of humor. He could put us all in stitches. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To the Brown Family, I am sorry for your loss. MC Brown was the first MC I met when I checked onto the USS Preble in the 80's. He was a kind man and gave a lot of advice and solace to many Sailors during his career. My thoughts and prayers are with your family as you go through these troubling times. God bless you all and keep you safe.
