I had the pleasure of getting to know Phil when we both attended Episcopal High School. It is with shock and sadness that I learn of his passing. He was a great young man back then and from what I read here it sounds like that never changed. As I picture him now his smile and sense of joy is what stands out. How lucky I am to have known him. My condolences to his family.
Phil was definitely one of the good guys. Talented in his job, thoughtful to those around him and always willing to share what he had with others. It breaks my heart that his life was cut so short...he had so much more to give.
His heart was twice his size and he always saw the good in people. I pray that he is resting in peace now. He was a very dear colleague and friend.
Phil's kindness and generosity during Bryan's terminal illness literally kept the family afloat. My respect and admiration for Phil is off the charts. He leaves a beautiful legacy of which his family can be proud. Prayers for your comfort and peace. In Christ we have hope.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Phil was a very sweet man and I am glad to have known him. - Karen Kenerly
