John Augustus Elliot Sr. 1930 - 2013

John Augustus Elliot Sr.

Tuesday, November 19, 2013
To John and his family,
I had the good fortune to work with John in the Bethesda PSIM Office during the late 1980's and early 1990's. I looked up to him as a mentor with a wealth of knowledge, a friend and someone who could always be depended on for advice and counsel.

He will be missed by many, including me..

Bill, Dave, Pete, James, Tibby, Bob, and Amy; I am honored to have known your dad. He will always be known as a man of faith, integrity, and love for kids and their sports. His support and coaching of our Robinson Riff Raff teams is a memory I will cherish forever. God Bless You all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Nobody said life was going to be easy.

Nobody said life was also going to be happy, joyful, heartbreaking, floating in laughter and drowned in tears, touched with moments of glory and wonder, fair, unfair, a high sun of satisfaction shaded just slightly with “what ifs”…

A catholic cacophony, that, if you could surrender to the timing, revealed itself to be a symphonic opus…

John Elliot heard everything that nobody said… lived it and enjoyed the music. Well played, well lived and well done. It was my pleasure to know him and remains one to remember all of you.
