My wonderful and constant memories of LJIS and BISD will always include John, Barbara and his sons who I had the privilege of teaching. John made a difference in my life. Char Burgner, Sunset, SC
I went to LJI as a student when he was a principal and I later worked for Mr. Faseler as a bus driver while going to Brazosport College. He was a great principal and a great boss, always easy to talk to. He'll be missed for sure.
Barbara, John, Keith, and Brad,
Cindi and I are very sorry to hear of John's passing. We will always remember fondly our Little League days watching the Phillies beat the stuffing out of everyone but the Cubs.
John was a legend at LJI and his brand of discipline was always what was needed for the situation. His easy going nature and deep voice with very specific instructions to the kids always solved the problem.
I will remember our football officiating days and how it was always a good thing to be scheduled with John. He made it easy to keep the players and coaches in line and under control.
Please accept our sympathy,
Richard and Cindi Schmerber

The Exporters will always remember Mr. John Roy Faseler. John always came prepared to make a difference in our lives in Biology and Chemistry. He prompted many of us to become apart of the solution and get involved with education. I will always remember the wisdom spoken by John and how he truly enjoyed serving others to assist them in becoming better. Young men learned how to become gentlemen through his guidance. Barbara and family, I am so sorry to hear about John. He was a great friend and neighbor to my mom and dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sandy Hall Williams
